PPP is broke and I'm stumped :(
My PPP was working fine under RH3.0.3 with the 2.0 kernel, but on
upgrading to RH4.0, ppp suddenly refuses to connect to the remote side.
Any ideas what I need to do? Have the ppp-on scripts changed again under
RH4.0? ppp-on works fine until it trys to connect ppp0 <-> /dev/ttyS1,
then I get all sorts of NAK error messages, and eventually it times out
and hangs up the modem.
I looked through the PPP HowTo, but couldn't find any reference to
problem. Perhaps I missed it, it was at 2:00 a.m. :)
