Thanks to all who replied to my previous email about methods
of installing Colgate on a Winbook notebook which cannot have
both the floppy and CDROM plugged in simultaneously.
Still no success (yet) in installing, but there is progress.
We've found that you can boot off the floppy and then do a
"suspend to disk" which puts the machine in a state in which
the drives can be swapped. When the machine is turned back on
your in the same state you left it -- no need to reboot linux.
Now the next problem. The (updated) boot floppy doesn't
detect the TEAC CD-46E CDROM drive which I assume must be an
EIDE/ATAPI drive. I wonder if this problem is due to the
fact the the CDROM wasn't in the machine when it was booted--
for some reason I doubt it.
Any suggestions (please!)
