Linux has firewalling capabilities. Its pretty easy to use. You need the
ipfadm package, and you need to install IP_FIREWALL in your kernel..

This page has very usefull information on the kernel options, and the RPMS
for the firewall packages. It also has a paper which describes how to use
the firewalling facilities in 'a real life situation'. I've found this to
be very useful.
