Firewalling With Redhat 4.0

Anyone using Redhat 4.0 and a linux box as a firewall?
What we'd like to do is set up a cheap box (P75/32MB/1-2GB) with a bunch
of network cards (2-3 to start), and use it for a few functions,
including:
FIREWALL (we NEED it! Our 2501 will do it, but we need other features)
SWITCH (so we can segment our internal network, for security)
ROUTER (it'll need to do that nicely to support the other functions)
Will redhat 4.0 (say with a 2.0.25 kernel) do this nicely? (Read:
Reliably, Quickly, and inexpensively).
I'd like to use our Cisco 2501, but it just doesn't have the ability to
segment the network correctly.
