If your need is occasional there is a very function Win32
X-server demo from StarNet Communication Corp. The demo
is downloadable from http://www.starnet.com. The demo is fully functional
and runs for 2 hours, at which point it will exit. You can restart it
immediately afterwards. And BTW, it warns you 15 minutes before it shuts
down. The registration price is $150, which makes it about the cheapest
PC X-server around.
It works fine for me under NT 4.0, connecting to my Linux boxen.
