I'm pretty much of a newbie to linux, unix and the ilk, and compiling. I
unfortunately erased my rpm 2.2.7 when I queried rpm, saw both 2.2.5 and 2.2.7 and
erased 2.2.5. Unfortunately it seems to have erased both. I downloaded the tar file
from the web site to try and recompile, but my limited unix skills did not allow me
to succeed. Can anyone maybe email me directly and walk me through actually
compiling the rpm? Thanx in advance.
