After my recent upgrade to Redhat 4.0 I am having problems
setting up MetroX. I run configX and select the proper
video card and mouse. I have then tried various resolutions
with various frequency and color settings.

Since I am in runlevel 3 I issue "init 5" and X tries to
start up. The monitor's relay switch clicks on and off
and nothing is displayed. I have to ctl-alt-del to shutdown
linux properly and restart. None of the alt-f2 stuff works.

It sounds like a resolution problem but I have tried lots
of settings and the settings of Redhat 3.0. My hardware is
a Number 9 64/pro and a Nanoa 17" monitor.

Any ideas?

Jason
