MS has a TCP/IP client available for dl on their FTP site.  I don't know if it supports SMB disk sharing.  I do remember that it is *VERY* memory hungry and it takes ~200k of conventional memory.  :(  That's my recommendation to try.  Both IBM and MS have their LanManager clients for DOS, but you can only use them if you've got NT or Warp server.
