I have been trying to build xmcd, Motif CD Audio Player, through the
authors source code, with RedHat 4.0 and RH 2.0 Motif.
The executables build ok, and the player appears to initially work;
however, additional commands to xmcd (like change tracks) cause the
application to crash. We have traced the problem (via gdb) to libc.
I have two complete versions of RH4.0 on my system, and this problem occurs
on both. Is anyone else having any problems with libc? Any suggestions?
