I'm having a very similar problem. I don't think it's the S3 chip
that's causing your problem -- it's that your card is requesting an
IRQ. I have a Matrox MGA millenium that requests IRQ 10. I also have a
(cheap) serial card for cua2 and cua3 -- unfortunately, it wants IRQ
10 and 11 for those, respectively. Therefore, I can only use cua3.
