xcdroast problem (slightly off topic)

Hello everybody,
This problem is slightly off topic relative to RH although it does run a
RH 4.0 box, but some of you might be able to help me anyway.
The problem concerns xcdroast, which was mentioned on the list last month.
I've installed it, and everything seems to work just fine until I want to
create an image from my master directory. Then I get :
child process exited abnormally
child process exited abnormally
while executing
"close $pipe "
invoked from within
"if { $out == "" } {
set waitforready 1; close $pipe
}"
The master directory is NFS mounted, but I've had no other problems
reading from it. I've run the syscheck script that follows xcdroast
without spotting anything irregular, so I'm a bit baffled at the moment.
The relevant sysinfo for my system is :
Pentium 90, Kernel 2.0.24, 32MB RAM
AHA2940 SCSI, Phillips IMS CDD521 CD-R, Seagate 31000 (1GB)
EIDE : WDC AC31000 (1GB), WDC AC2540 (540MB), (not used by xcdroast)
If it'll be any help I can mail (off-the-list) the config files for
further info.
Any help will be greatly appreciated as I'm looking forward to take RH4.0
home to my own box ;)
