Yes, I see this. It first happened on an https page, so I thought
that might be it, but it's since happened on regular pages, too. I've
seen no pattern, either, but it happens enough that it ought to be
easy to reproduce.
I do generally like red baron, but it seems not to grok the usual
toolkit options -iconic and -geometry. This is rather irritating.
OTOH, it does indeed not support Java. I regard this as a feature ;)
How have people fared with MetroX? The few messages I read in the
archives weren't entirely favourable, and my experiences matched. I
had been hoping for a server that would support the power saving thing
on my Mach32, but it never lasted long enough for me to find out.
When it crashes, it leaves it's image on the screen and the virtual
console system locked or wedged or something such that no other apps
can fix it - I had to reboot. (For that matter, it didn't seem to
support console switching that I could find). It also seemed to make
Netscape redraw itself unusally often.
No matter; redbaron is lightweight enough and supports enough of the
usual HTML that it's a nice frill to get on top of 4.0.
Speaking of 4; I've got mh-6.8.3-13 installed, and rcvtty doesn't seem
to work. Is it supposed to be sgid tty or something?
