I have a couple of machines running RedHat4.0 and only one
Dat a HP35480A that I'd like to use to backup both machines.
What is best way to do this ? Can you just NFS mount the root
filesystem of the machine that doesn't have the Dat and do
the backup of that machine with tar or cpio or are there
some suggested packages to do this ? I also need some info
on how to NFS mount the root filesystem, everytime I try
I tried this from picard:
I get an error:
mount: raven:/ failed, reason given by server: Permission denied
---------------------------------------------------------------
Files on picard:
/etc/fstab:
raven:/ /raven nfs defaults,
noauto,user,rw 0 0
------------------------------
/etc/exports:
/ picard(rw)
------------------------------

Thanks for any suggestions or recommendtions,
