I use Netscape V3.0 (with java turned off) and the sendmail that comes
with RedHat 4.0. I use to have Netscape mail configured to send mail
directly to my ISP smtp server but didn't like the delays that caused
when reading and reply to email messages so I changed the set up to send
mail via my linux box (and hence my sendmail). Works fine. What,
specifically, is the problem you are experiencing? Perry
