That's the prompt where you run fsck manually,
with switches specifying block size, normally
8193 (No, not 8192 but I don't know why) where
you can have a much better chance of recovering 
filesystem. Never let me down so far despite I
had to hit "reset" button when running X at least
6 times this year already. You know those darn 
Netscape betas.
