I tried compiling the Gravis UltraSound driver for my newly upgraded
RH 4.0 and got the following errors:
driver.h:61: linux/modversions.h: No such file or directory
I assume this is caused by the fact that I have not yet compiled my own
kernel on this machine so the modversions.h has not been generated.
What would help me tremendously with this is the ``.config'' file from
the standard RH 4.0, since the kernel 2.0.18 and its modules works for
me without change. If I have the .config file in place, I can just
type "make dep; make; make modules" and be done with it.
