In fact, the only reason I called it "fascist" in my original posting
was because I did a "strings" on the PAMS shared library in hopes of
finding any setup strings dealing with the password checking, and found
the string "fascist.c" as the name of one of the source files...

Or as those Californians on the list might say, 


        "Chill, dude!!!"
