Thanks everyone for taking the time to answer such an
easy question. I was looking through 3 books, including
the O'Reilly volume, for the answer, but I couldn't find it.
Something that basic oughta have its own index entry,
don't you think. ^_^
Now, before I can completely eliminate dark thoughts
from my mind, can anyone tell me what's the easiest
way to handle zip files that span floppies? (I want to
get them into a directory where glint can handle them.)
Oh, and one more dolt-lummox question:
I created a directory called "download" in my root.
(I know, probably not too smart, but hey, I'm a
dolt-lummox newbie, so what can you expect?)
Something called "core" is in there. How did that
happen, and can I safely nuke it? I ended up
using /home/Lance for the glint business, and there
were no problems. It's such fun wandering around
an alien file system not knowing where the booby traps
are. :^)
Thanks again, everyone. You're all wonderful.
