Having been an fvwm95 user before Colgate, I've had the lines
Key Tab A M Prev Focus
Key Tab A MS Next Focus
in my .fvwm2rc95. With the rpm of fvwm95 2.0.41f I was using before,
Alt-Tab and Shift-Alt-Tab do what they're supposed to do--flip through
each window in turn forwards or backwards, like mwm and akin to
Microsoft Windows. Now with Colgate's 2.0.42a, Shift-Alt-Tab works
like before but Alt-Tab will only flip between the current window and
the previously-selected one. What's going on?
(The ironic thing is, I'd love to see fvwm95 handle Alt-Tabs exactly
the way Microsoft Windows handles it, namely letting you page through
all the windows if you keep pressing Tab but taking you to the
previous window if Alt-Tab is pressed and released quickly. In other
words, an amalgam of the 'normal' and quirky behavior I'm seeing here.)
