INTRO TO THE REDHAT-LIST
The redhat-list is *not* an official support avenue. If you have
purchased a Red Hat product, see the documentation for your support
options.
The list is meant to be a place where Red Hat users can gather and
"hang out" with each other, exchanging information and ideas. As
such the tone is informal, and people communicate as if they were
all good friends.
Also, don't take offence if a question is answered in a very terse
manner -- sometimes this is a blessing due to the volume of traffic
on the list!
This list (and others) are archived in the support section of the
Red Hat web site: http://www.redhat.com/. There is a search
mechanism you can use to search for questions and answers in the
archives. Literally thousands of questions have already been
answered and the info is all there in the archives.
