All,

I'm having the following problem. I have built a modular kernel with
the tape portion of SCSI as a module and the NE2000 driver as a module
as well. This is with redhat 4.0. I followed the instructions in the
user guide and it says you have to use mkinitrd. So I did that, but I
get messages about loop0 and can't mount... I can't remember, but
related to the mkinitrd process.

Anyway long and short the SCSI driver never gets loaded, any ideas what
I am doing wrong. Do I have to include ramdisk support in the modular
kernel?

Thanks,
Alan Adamson

please email back and I only get the digest from this list.
