Yes, it works fine.  We have a DPT 3224 (? I don't remember the exact number)
installed on a large and busy FTP site.

Look at the eata_dma.c driver file for all details of the model numbers.

Also, the driver author was very cooperative (we started using the
controller somewhere in the middle of the 1.3.x kernel series) and
seems to have close connections with DPT.
