This is just a matter of fixing your configuration...if your using fvwm,
it would be in .fvwmrc (i think! :)  where you can specify the # of
virtual windows, and whether or not it's sticky, that is, follows you
around from window to window (I think! :) I just came back from fencing,
so I'm not too sharp right now (no pun intended...) but I believe that
this is the solution.
