Thank for the information. I did check the contrib packages
via RedHat WWW page, and lyx-0.10.7 is NOT mentioned there, or at least
was not this morning.
Speaking of using the Lyx RPM package, I would still not recommend it.
Reason: there were no upgrades between lyx-0.10.2 and lyx-0.10.7
in the RPM format. Are you certain to find lyx-0.10.8 etc. later on?
May be half a year from now you'll find lyx-0.10.22 or lyx-1.xx,
but I would like to have more options and less bugs sooner.
After all Lyx is being developed rather fast, as I had mentioned.
