Yes, I did. Looks like one needs to use 'ps -aux'...
But when on midterm exams I used 'ps -aux', it
was flagged as an error and I got 4 points instead
of 5. They use SunOS and Solaris at the college.
I guess someone re-coded "ps" for Linux that way. :(
Now, when making assignments, I have to telnet to campus
workstation and do everything there rather than use my
home Linux box because I start seeing more and more
discrepancies. E.g. campus boxes' "ps -au" output
equals "ps -aux" on my computer, ping has different
switches and so on.
