Cannot help you with MetroX, but I had similar problems with rpm last
week.
At first try 'rpm -e metroess'. (Leave the -whatever out) The package
revision
is normally not used when erasing packages. Tough, it's sometimes
needed.
The next thing you could try is to re-install the rpm. I believe his
helped me
(not exactly sure as I did many other things as well). To feel more
secure I
downloaded a new copy of the rpm-package before re-install.
