You probably have to put the "mh" directory in your path. In RedHat it
is /usr/lib/mh. Hopefully, your exmh is able to work with this
setup. I did not tell us if you are using MH coming with RedHat or
some other one. 
So try setting
PATH=/usr/lib/mh:$PATH
export PATH

in .xsession.
