fvwm95-42 works fine now. I "rpm -e" all fvwm95 packages,
manually, using "locate", "find" and "rm" found and deleted
all remnants of *.fvwm2rc95, its modules and icons (except
my custom icons), went to my $HOME, renamed my .fvwm2rc95
(the newer one uses slightly different syntax for the button
bar: important!), manually edited new .fvwm2rc95, added my
old preferences keeping the new syntax and voila!... I am
glad it's okay now.

Frankly, I don't see any difference between fvwm95-41.x.f
and fvwm95-42.xx at all.
