just minor things, but they can be viewed as bugs in RH4.
/var/spool/mqueue is owned by sendmail and by filesystem, with different
modes.
most of the INN files were group uucp, but the RPM was looking for group
news, -V caught those
after installing the new dev rpm, /dev/printer and /dev/log verify with
5 (md5) errors..
is theer a list of things to fix for the next release? Just curious,
trivial things really, but to see a clean -V would be GREAT
also an idea: I think it would be nice of RPM to NOT flag %config files
as changed, on a -V. just flag them if they have been removed, or
changed owners or groups. Especially stuff like sendmail.c*, /etc/passwd etc
I do not care if the md5 sum has changed since it was installed, and I am
sure not gonna build an RPM of these files every time I change one, so to
keep the database happy.
an idea...any comments?
