Re: News reader says "You are not in my access file"

You must make an entry in the /etc/news/nnrp.access file. The format is 
simple, here is a snippet of mine:

[root@c6 news]# less nnrp.access
localhost:Read Post:::*
*.smithphoto.com:Read Post:::*
*.color.net:Read Post:::*

Your machine must be in this list, either specifically or with the * 
wildcard.  Also, try man nnrp.access.
