I will never get this notation for links. If you do 

	ln -s /usr/lib/pine.conf /etc/pine.conf

and you do `ls -l /etc/pine.conf', you will see

	/etc/pine.conf -> /usr/lib/pine.conf

But what you are telling me is that when I want to talk about this
link, I am supposed to write
	/usr/lib/pine.conf -> /etc/pine.conf

Not consistent, even if this is correct.

In any case, my point is that somehow I thought I should be able to
find *all* config files in /etc or in its subdirectories.
