The 4.0 install had some memory leaks (which RPM has included since 2.0
but we never noticed). I've fixed this internally, and the experimental
disks in ftp.redhat.com:/ewt include this change.

We changed a lot more then we did with Picasso. Red Hat 3.0.3 was basically
the third try at Red Hat 2.0, while Red Hat 4.0 is the first try at a new
generation of product. With the new install, kernel, and authentication
a lot was liable to break.
