[root@borg rpms]# rpm -qf `whereis xmixer`
file xmixer: is not owned by any package
file /usr/bin/X11/xmixer is not owned by any package
file /usr/X11/bin/xmixer is not owned by any package
multimedia-2.0-3
multimedia-2.1-2
file /usr/X386/bin/xmixer is not owned by any package
file /usr/X386/man/man1/xmixer.1 is not owned by any package
file /usr/X11/man/man1/xmixer.1 is not owned by any package
[root@borg rpms]#

Hmm... didn't know I had several copies of it...
anyway, it's a part of multimedia RPM.
