I caught the recent thread on cd players, but I'm in need of an X-based
mixer program. I've seen references to xmixer in various HOWTO's, but it's
not a part of my current 3.0.3 install. Anyway, I'd just like to be able
to control the volume, balance, and maybe tone (a full band EQ would be
nice, but not necessary). Anybody have any good suggestions? (also, what
rpm is xmixer a part of, if any?)
As a side note, I tried to use aumix in an Xterm, but I just get garbled
characters. I'm assuming it's a console only program...
Thanks for the pointers,
Heath
