Ok, well things seem to be going somewhat ok for this new 'LINUX' user.
I have a few questions tho about getting some things setup, the 'howto's'
and some of the other FAQ files have served to do nothing but further
confuse..
Here is what I am trying to do...
Install and setup for 'cdrom' 'sound-using a Ensoniq Sndscape Sndcard' 'PPP'
I am not sure excatly where to complie ect the kernel or the command
that I am supposed to use. I know that I will need to fill out all the y/n
questions. After that I am not sure how to update the kernel so that I can
use the new one.
I have 3 hard drives plus the cdrom, the hda1 is dos c -hdb1 is linux native-
hdb2 is the linux swap - hdc is dos d - and I wanna put the cdrom in there
somewhere.
Now in order to boot I use LILO off the floopy...
Sorry to sound so lost, thanks in advance for any help.
