Well, I thought I would say something nice (since most seems to be 
negative lately).

I have an old system and since EISA cards are hard/expensive I am using 
an old S3 ISA w/ 1MB.  It worked with XFree86 fine.  It took some tricks 
to get it configured for 1024x768, but I did it.

With Metro-X it was easy (once I got the mouse *working*).  It is SLOW 
starting, but that could be fvwm95/4.0/whatever, and not necessarily 
Metro-X.  I haven't tried XFree86 with the new system.

Of course, when I get a new machine and video card, I reserve my right to 
bitch about Metro-X...
