I'm getting an error like
Loading aha152x module for root filesystem
aha152x module failed to load
during bootup. Now, I specified that my root was /dev/hda2 during
installation, so I don't know where the bootup scripts got the idea that
my root filesystem was a SCSI drive (I did install RPMs *from* /dev/sda1).
Also, an rdev of my /boot/vmlinuz gave /dev/sda3 (I've since changed it to
/dev/hda2). I have no idea where it got this idea as I don't even use a
/dev/sda3. (BTW, what script tries to load the modules?)
I don't know whether this error is the cause, but kerneld will not load
the aha152x module when I try to mount my Zip drive. I have to manually
load the module each time with modprobe. It worked fine under 3.0.3.
Any hints as to what's going on here will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Dave Cook
