Hi;

I was on the RedHat 4.0 Intel Errata page and I could not find any image
file listed on that page
that looked like it could solve the problem. I am not sure what you mean
when you say
snoop on the machine I am trying to install. I can "spy" on the user
RedHat tries to login
but here's exactly what happens:

1. I enter in the IP address and Path of the RPMS files located on the NT
server in the
     RH installation program.

2. In the FTP daemon spy window on the NT box, I see a Prelogin event pop
up. This tells me
that RH is trying to login to the NT box.

3. There is a timeout on the RH box after about 30 seconds and the message
is something like
"Bad FTP server response". So, I am assuming that the RH install
program looks for
a certain string of characters which it can not find and thus craps
out. Like I said in my
original message, anonymous ftp to the NT box is working ok; I have
manually logged
    in and tested it out.

Regards,
Vaibhav
