blank e-mail bodies in Pine/Fetchmail

Anyone ever have this happen?
I'm getting most mail fine, but message from one internet mailing list has
suddenly started to come through with no message bodies. I got an error
message on the first piece of mail that had to do with a character set or
something... Didn't pay attention at the time because I wasn't having the
problem. Now suddenly all my mail from that address is coming through with
no body to the message.
I'm using fetchmail to get the mail, pine to read it...
