gnome snapshot on 5.2?

Folks,
I tried to load the gnome snapshot from the 5.2 CD. It fails
with "failed dependencies, imlib 1.8 needed...", but imlib 1.8-5
is already loaded (rpm -qa). Any hints or should I get another
snapshot from gnome? Should I try to manually load this?
Will I break anything by loading gnome (things that use the
production version of gtk, etc.)?
