Hi all

I have a notebook with a PCI ESS ES1968S maestro-2 sound card

I have sound enabled in the kernel, but on startup, all I get is

Sound Initialization started
Sound initialization complete

according to the Sound-HOWTO, this means the card was not detected. This
card is supposed to be sound blaster pro compatable, and believe this card
is supported. Has anyone gotten this to work? It happens to be an ARM TS769
notebook

I tried sndconfig, and it says an error occured during modprobe.
