Hello all,

Is it possible to use two different versions of the "same" shared library?
That is, I would like to try a couple of X apps that require libjpeg.so.6
and I upgraded my system to libjpeg.so.62 for Window Maker (I think). The
rpms fail the dependency. If I force the rpm and try to run the app I
usually get unable to locate libjpeg.so.6, which makes perfect sense to me.

If it is possible to have two versions on the same system what is the "best"
method to doing so? Best meaning a) it will work, b) it will not cause
serious errors down the road.

Thanks for your help,

Mykl
