But I'm NOT "any old source"! I did the registration just like they said. I
formatted my e-mail just like they said (as close as possible). Yet I'm still
not getting any response.
I KNOW I'm using the same serial # in my e-mail as I did on the registration
- i cut-and-pasted it. If there's a problem with the reg. number, shouldn't
they tell me when I'm REGISTERING? And they don't even confirm that it's the
registration # that's the problem. (Yes, I DID go to the website to confirm my
registration)

By compiling a "basic" 2.0.33 kernel on another machine, using it to get the
RH machine up, and then compiling a "full" 2.0.33 kernel on the RH machine.
I still have their kernel on the disk, but I don't boot it (Yay for lilo!)
