They support basic installation, not your definition, which is beyond basic.

I sent them my questions using the support web page they provide.
Then I got an answer from them in a few days. I don't think
they accept email questions from any old source.
How did you fix whatever was causing a problem with the kernel?

The point is one book cannot do everything. The RedHat book is great
for the hardest task - helping a new RedHat Linux user get started.
Your absolutly right, you need at least another book or two
after that.
