run top. it will show you how much real memory it thinks is available. I 
suspect it will say 64MB.

you need to read the man page for lilo and lilo.conf, but basically you need 
to put the following line in /etc/lilo.conf

append = "mem=96M"

and then run lilo to take effect, and reboot.
