Someone had asked about sound editing software earlier and someone else
posted a URL to the Linux MIDI and Sound Page:

http://www.xdt.com/ar/linux-snd/

There is a really cool looking program there called Multitrack, that should
do the trick. It if the first audio editing product I've seen for Linux
that approaches a pro look and feel. (I have worked with Macs and Win95/NT
machines doing pro audio.) I still have yet to put this program through its
paces, but it loks very promising.
