Hi:
I'm running 5.2 out of the box ($49 one). I'm working on getting IP
Masquerading going and having no luck. It doesn't appear as though the
gateway machine (the one with both a network card and a modem installed)
is passing the packets to the ppp0 route. The requests from remote
machines reach the gateway (I've checked with TCPdump).
Do need to do anything special (like recompile the kernel) to get Redhat
5.2 to properly do IP Masq?
IP forwarding is enabled (/etc/sysconfig/network), I have no firewall
rules in place yet, and /proc/...ipv4/ip_masquerade contains a 1.
Any suggestions as to what I may have overlooked?
Thanks,
.dn
