Hi, I am running Redhat 5.1 on my machine and I have configured Samba
to allow my dads windows 95 machine to use my Unix printer. Now I want
to use his hp720. I have run the printool on my machine to add a LAN
printer.
I have shared my dads printer on his machine with no password. I then
double clicked the same in network neighborhood and created a printer
in order to print to the share.
When I try to print a test page with the printtool I get the message
Printer error
The computer has lost communication with the printer.
On the Windows machine.
what am I doing wrong?
