Michael,
On the source CD, the SRPM is called egcs-1.0.3a-12.src.rpm. This SRPM
will build egcs, egcs-c++ (i.e. g++), egcs-objc, and egcs-g77. It
probably builds libstdc++ and libstdc++-devel, but I don't know for
sure as I've never needed to build from source. Unless you need to
modify the way the compiler behaves, I would recommend installation
from the binary CD.
