I am wanting to install the asWedit HTML editor. There two Linux versions
offered, one ELF and the other requiring libXm:
i386.linux PC, i386 Linux 1.2.x (ELF)
i386.linux_dyna PC, i386 Linux 1.2.x (libXm v.2 req.)
I am running RedHat 5.0 and it appears that my libXm library is older than
that:
/usr/dt/lib/libXm.so
/usr/dt/lib/libXm.so.1
/usr/dt/lib/libXm.so.1.2
/usr/i486-linux-libc5/lib/libXmu.so.6
/usr/i486-linux-libc5/lib/libXmu.so.6.0
/usr/X11R6/lib/libXmu.a
/usr/X11R6/lib/libXmu.so
/usr/X11R6/lib/libXmu.so.6
/usr/X11R6/lib/libXmu.so.6.0
What does this library do and is my libXm library too old to handle the
dynamically-loaded version of asWedit? Would upgrading it cause other
problems?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Gary
